Paramount wants Michael Bays Transformers 3 in 3D

Michael Bay has said in the past that 3D is a gimmick and that his agressive filmmaking style is not conducive to 3-D filming but it seems Paramount does not agree. According to Variety Paramount is pressuring Michael Bay to change his mind and shoot Transformers 3 in 3-D.

I tend to agree with Michael Bay that 3-D or 2-D does not make or break a movie. I would rather see a director and producer work on a great story and great characters rather then thinking of how they can do it in 3-D. Transformers 3 will begin shooting in May.
