JJ Abrams Talks CloverField 2

Cloverfield was a fun film that offered a great angle on the typical monster movie that was refreshing and entertaining. The movie was  a big hit thanks to its viral marketing and shortly after it hit theaters JJ Abrams and the studio started talking about a sequel. Its been quite some time since we have heard anymore about the sequel but JJ Abrams told MTV that the project is still very much alive.

Although there have been no updates and from the sounds of things the progression is slow JJ Abrams assures MTV that the project is still very much alive. I have to be honest I am not sure how you get the genie back in the bottle when you consider viral marketing made Cloverfield the hit it was... but no doubt JJ Abrams will give it his best shot.
