James Cameron talks Spiderman Remake Directors Job

Posted by: Michael

Clearly although fans in general hate the idea of a Spiderman remake we still want to talk about it. James Cameron is also talking about it and responded to MTV who asked him about his chances of directing the project. Much like an old hooker about to be married off.. James Cameron wants none of it.

"No, no," Cameron told MTV News when asked if he'd been approached for the "Spider-Man" job. "It's a little bit sloppy seconds, let's face it."

No shock at all here since James Cameron is not about to throw his reputation down the drain on a Spiderman reboot. He would rather take chances on projects like AVATAR where at least if it fails its his own doing.

This leaves Marc Webb from 500 days of Summer and Matthew Vaughn who directed KICK ASS as front runners to direct the spiderman remake which may be in 3D
