James Bond 21 Director is Martin Campbell

It seems that the director from 1995's GoldenEye is in talks to do the upcoming Bond 21 movie. Martin Campbell's Golden eye was a smash hit making him an obvious choice to usher in the new bond now that Pierce Brosnan has been tossed aside.

You will recall in earlier news that Pierce Brosnan tapped Collin Farrel as the obvious next choice for Bond ( read news item here ) and Collin in very simple terms said "not interested"

There are rumors that Colin Farrell might be the next bond. This rumor started after Pierce Brosnan, who was recently turfed from the role of Bond suggested that Colin Farrell should replacement him as the English super agent. Colin Farrell it would seem is less then thrilled by the fact that Pierce put his name out as bond.

According to Farrell he is not in talks with anyone to play Bond, and that this is nothing more then Pierce shooting his mouth off on who HE thinks should be playing his replacement.

Over the last few months the bond rumors have been flying like mad on the internet, from Orlando Bloom, to Hulk star Eric Bana. We will all have to wait and see what comes of this.
