Brosnan, Harrelson and Ratner talk After Sunset movie !

In this caper movie from director Brett Ratner, two brilliant criminals are lured out of retirement...or are they? Max Burdett (Pierce Brosnan) is a master jewel thief who, with the help of his accomplice and lover Lola Cirillo (Salma Hayek), has stolen two of the three Napoleon diamonds, among the most valuable gems on Earth. Stanley Lloyd (Woody Harrelson) is an FBI agent who has been on Burdett's trail for years and is especially eager to bring him to justice after a humiliating incident in which Max swiped one of the Napoleons out from under Stanley's nose.....

The movie will come to cinemas this week. Coming Soon had the chance to talk to Pierce Brosnan, Woody Harrelson and director Brett Ratner.

Pierce Brosnan on why he took his role in After the Sunset:

I liked the piece and it came out of a bag of scripts because I said "Let's get a picture together." I've got a picture for this part of the year, which is the Matador, and I want something for now. And I just love heist movies and this one had the ingredients of character, buddy movie, romantic movie, heist movie; I just thought if it had it all going at the same time, it could be a popcorn movie.

Brett Ratner of how he became attached to After the Sunset:

When I was doing Rush Hour 2, they called me and said "Pierce Brosnan wants to meet you." He came to Vegas and was said "I want you to direct the next James Bond." And I was like, Jesus; James Bond is asking me to direct James Bond. Then he said, "Unfortunately, I have no say who directs the movies." They didn't end up hiring me and then when I got this opportunity, I heard Pierce was attached to it. I didn't want to miss the opportunity because rarely do actors come after directors. It's usually me begging actors to be in my movies.
