Don Mancini and John Waters talk Seed of Chucky movie and future !

Mr D: How old is Glen in this picture, and will we see sibling rivalry come part 6? How about a TV series- that could easily be hilarious on a weekly basis?

Don Mancini: It's been six years since Glen's birth at the end of BRIDE, but since doll biology isn't an exact science -- little is known about it at this point, and experts disagree about even the most basic principles -- Glen looks and acts like a ten-year-old. And as far as sibling rivalry, PART 6, and a TV series go, are you offering me a development deal? I'll give you my agent's number.

Mr D: Can we expect to see the franchise go back to it's horror roots- or now that the characters are so well known, will it forever be a dark comedy?

DM: Good question. Let's wait and see what the response to SEED is like. But keep in mind that any horror sequel faces the same dilemma: the more you see of these iconic horror characters -- whether it's Freddy, Jason, or Chucky -- the less scary they become.
