Halloween Rebooting AGAIN in 3-D

Halloween 2 is getting panned by fans of the genre and it has a lowly 52% approval rating based on 31 reviews. This comes as no shock to me since Rob Zombies first Halloween film had the same effect. You either love it or you hate it.

Now comes word from HorrorMovies.ca that Moustapha Akkad is rolling over in his grave as yet another remake is being planned for Halloween. This one is Halloween 3D. They are in talks with a big name director who is un-named and have decided to use the gimmmick of 3D to once again... relaunch the series. That said its not clear if the new Halloween 3D will continue the franchise or be a reboot.

If it is a reboot this is the definition of excessive remakes.
