Orphanage Remake Has a Director

The Hollywood reporter is saying that the remake of the 2007 chiller "The Orphanage" has found a director in Larry Fessenden. the movie is to be produced by fan favorite (and original film producer) Guillermo Del Toro. If you know indie horror, you'll recognize Fessenden's name as the director of Wendigo.

The Orphanage is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. It made me urinate myself with fear. (Not incontinence, like during Star Trek). And I hate the idea of a need for an English-language remake of it. But the hiring of this director is pretty terrific, and has assured at least one ticket purchased from me. This excites me, almost to the point of urinating myself again. (I have a problem, I'm going to a doctor about it on Friday).
