Miley Cyrus as Bat Girl in Dark Knight Sequel?

I am gonna say right off the bat I am not buying this rumor. Hollyscoop.com is reporting that Miley Cyrus auditioned for the Dark Knight sequel in fulll bat girl attire in an effort to drop her teen image and get into some serious acting fare. She reportedly impressed Warner Brothers with her approach.

I have nothing to say other then I am not buying it. Warner Brothers is not looking to tap into that market so there is no logic to casting a singer when you could tap any number of talented actresses to star. Plus why would they be casting for Bat Girl unless they intend to RUIN the very franchise they just rebooted and redeemed for us fans.

You will recall this past week at Comic Con Gary Oldman confirmed what the producer has already said that the film will begin shooting in a year with a release sometime in 2011.
