FEAST Writers Marcus Dunstan, Patrick Melton's Doing SAW 8

I definitely did not see this one coming. According to Variety Project Greenlight heroes Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton's who wrote FEAST are working on SAW 8. I am a huge fan of Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton's and their film FEAST is one of the coolest horror movies made in a very long time. I am also a fan of SAW which invites the question can these two turn a dieing franchise into a new level of awesome?

Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton's both have alot of talent but lets be honest SAW has progressively gone down hill and now with the main protagonist dead where on earth will they go with 6 and 7 much less 8. By the time SAW 8 comes around its likely to involve Leprechauns and be set in Space. Here is hoping that the franchise can hold on and that Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton's  can deliver the goods but I have my doubts.
