Gary Ross Doing Spiderman 4 Rewrites

Gary Ross who worked on Pleasentville with Tobey Maguire has been tapped by SONY to do rewrites on the new Spiderman 4 script. Kind of an odd choice but then I am not completely up to speed on all of Gary Ross's writing credits.

Spiderman 4 will be released on May 6th 2011. There has been a ton of speculation on villains and concepts but nothing has come of it yet. The question becomes in 2011 what will make you want to go see another Spiderman movie? At this point I am unsure what would draw me to the theatre seats for it. I loved Spiderman 1 and 2 but 3 for some reason fell a bit flat.
