Rupert Grint Recovering from Swine Flu

Even celebrities get sick! Rupert Grint star of the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has a case of Swine Flu and according to the BBC is recovering;

Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, took a few days off filming but has now returned to the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and he is well enough to attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London on Tuesday.

“He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members,” his publicist said. She said that Grint’s doctor had confirmed the 20-year-old actor had recovered and was no longer contagious or at risk of infecting others.

Here is hoping that he is doing ok and is the only Potter Kid to end up with a case of Swine Flu! In “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” Lord Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and Wizard worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching.

Two-time Oscar nominee Bruno Delbonnel (“A Very Long Engagement,” “Amelie”) will serve as the director of photography, marking his first Harry Potter film. He will be joined by returning Harry Potter veterans, including production designer Stuart Craig, editor Mark Day, costume designer Jany Temime, creature & make-up effects designer Nick Dudman, special effects supervisor John Richardson, visual effects supervisor Tim Burke and composer Nicholas Hooper.
