Robert Rodriquez Talks Predator Remake

Predator is one of those rare classic action / scifi / horror flicks that ranks up their with ALIEN. Its action packed, full of carnage and features our favorite muscle bound Governator. As you should know Robert Rodriguez is remaking the film and today he confirmed Nimrod Antal will direct. He also took a minute to reveal for AICN the basic premise of the new remake;

I can't go too much into the story right now, because we're still writing. But it still involves a very intense group of people stranded on a Predator planet discovering unspeakable horrors (that are not always from outside their group). So like the original movie, the title does have a double meaning. Aliens was a different take on the Alien idea, and an original movie in it's own right, and that's what we want to do with this.

Dare I say we may have the bastardized taste of Aliens vs Predators firmly washed from our mouths thanks to Rodriguez? Lets Hope so!
