Stand Alone Dead Pool Movie GreenLit

Today comes word that the long anticipated Dead Pool movie is coming. Ryan Reynolds will don the mask and become Wade aka Dead Pool. The good news is that apparently they will NOT be continuing on with the bastardized Dead Pool which we saw at the end of Wolverine. The Hollywood reporter is reporting that they will be going back to his traditional roots.

This combined with the casting of Ryan Reynolds is great news. It should be really interesting to see how they tell the story. Ryan Reynolds did a great job and is prime to take on DeadPool in a standalone movie.
