Spiffy New Surrogates Poster Arrives

Bruce Willis will take on the lead in an upcoming scifi thriller based on a comic book called The Surrogates. According to FilmJunk, The Surrogates is based on the 5-issue comic book mini-series by Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele, which takes place in the year 2054, with a pair of detectives trying to stop a techno-terrorist bent on destroying what are known as “surrogates” — widespread androids that interact for people in the real world, taking on any physical form they want.

Michael Ferris and John Brancato (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, The Net, Catwoman) will write the script. I also included the first image from the film below which the studio supplied to us a little while back. I like the premise of this film !
