Elizabeth Shue Starring in Piranha Remake

I am one of the few who enjoys a good remake. Today comes word that Elizabeth Shue will star in the upcoming remake of Piranha which will be done in 3-D. Elizabeth Shue is both stunning and talented and is a great choice to bring some real acting credibility to this upcoming horror remake. Aja directed amongst other things the remake of Hills Have Eyes and High Tension. He has the potential to deliver one hell of a film.

Elizabeth Shue will play the local Sherrif who'se son is pivotal ( Jake ) in fighting off the man eating ankle biters.

The remake is written by Aja and Josh Stolberg. The story goes that a tremor causes Arizona's Lake Havasu floor to open, setting free scores of prehistoric piranhas.
