The Three Stooges Have Been Cast?

I grew up watching The Three Stooges because my father has always been a big fan. So he kind of passed down his enjoyment of there slapstick humor to me. I have probably seen every single short, movie and musical they have done.. including all the bad stuff with Curly Joe.

Well today on Twitter, Production Weekly broke the news on the casting that may be going down on the Farrelly Brothers film. Apparently they have Sean Penn as Larry, Benicio del Toro as Moe and Jim Carrey as Curly! Now the first two don't bother me nearly as much as hearing Jim Carrey playing Curly.

Carrey is going to have to put on a considerable amount of weight or possibly a fat suit to even come close to pulling this off. Unfortunately I'm not sure if this is going to be about their real lives or simply an actual "Three Stooges" movie. As soon as we discover whether this is a rumour or not keep it here for more.
