Transformers 3 in 2011... Not so Fast

The big news this week for Transformers geeks was the announcement that Transformers 3 was coming July 4th 2011. It is however a real shame nobody bothered to let Michael Bay know that was the date. Bay announced he will not be doing it for 2011 since he is taking a well needed rest from giant robots that kick ass. Bay posted on his message boards;

"I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3 - they asked me on the phone - I said yes to July 4 - but for 2012 - whoops! Not 2011!!! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots."

Either way the film is coming.. but if Bay has his say it wont be till 2012.
