Another Hint At The Arnold Cameo In Terminator SalvationPosted by: LukePersonally I have been trying to avoid all the hype around Terminator Salvation and just see the movie when it comes out. So I haven't been following all of the speculation about the film at all. But I know a big issue among fans has been will Arnold being making a cameo? Today IO9 posted a video of director McG speaking at the New York Comic Con in which he answers the question of whether Arnold will make an appearance or not. "The T-800 plays a big part in this movie", the filmmaker says, adding that they're trying to recreate a young 'Schwarzenegger', via visual effects, for the film. "We've been heading up to ILM in San Francisco to address this very issue. I don't want today's Arnold - I want [younger] Arnold, when he tormented Bill Paxton [in the first five minutes of "The Terminator"] and we will see what we can do about that". So based on that little bit of information it is probably safe to say that we will see Arnold just not as we know him today. A little CGI-type trickery from ILM will have him appearing in the film much younger. It sounds similar to what they had planned to do with putting Bruce Lee in a film.
