The Thing Remake Gets a Director

There is a brand new remake of The Thing in the works and Matthijs Van Heijningen will direct the project according to Variety. This film will be a prequel of sorts and will tell the story of the Norwegian group we see at the start of the previous film which are all dead.

The film is being penned by Battlestar Galactica producer Ronald D Moore. I really enjoyed the last remake of The Thing and have high hopes that this new film can deliver some excitement.
