Tron Sequel Renamed.. now a Remake?

Tr2n has been renamed once again. First it was TRON 2, then it was TRZ then it was Tr2n and now... dun dun dun. its TRON again. Frankly way better name. Also according to The Hollywood Reporter Garret Hedlund will star. Going back to the origianl films name really makes me think they might be looking to remake versus do a sequel.

The synopsis for said sequel so far is as follows; After being transported into the surreal landscape of a mainframe computer to destroy an intruder (Tron), a programmer finds himself allied with the leader of a rebellion against a corrupt cyber-entity.
