The film is a prequel to the wildly popular X-Men trilogy and tells the story of the adamantium-clawed antihero prior to joining the X-Men.

The movie boasts a stellar pedigree, with Hugh Jackman reprising his role as the title character and performances by Liev Schreiber and Ryan Reynolds.
