Indiana Jones 4 movie gets new screenwriter !

According to Variety, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg have hired Jeff Nathanson ("Rush Hour 2") to rewrite the Indiana Jones 4 script. Frank Darabont's script has been taken by George Lucas, to get re-written by Nathason. Nobody knows, how much of Darabont's script will remain in the movie.

After completing the "War of the Worlds" remake, Spielberg was planing to film "Vengeance". A movie about the terrorist attack during the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich (Germany),  where Israeli athletes were kidnapped by a group of Palestinian militants ( 11 Israelis lost their lives).

Maybe, if Nathanson delivers a draft that convinces George Lucas,  "Indiana Jones 4" will get first priority to get it into production. With the usual production time at such movies, it should still be possible to see Indy back in action, in late 2006.
