Robert Downey Jr Knocked out on Sherlock Holmes Set

Shocking news. Fresh off a fire on the set comes word that Robert Downey Jr has been knocked out during a fight scene gone bad. Justin writes;

Robert Downey Jr is currently filming Guy Ritchie's new Sherlock Holmes film, which is a take on the new comic that has Sherlock as more of a brawler than just master sleuth. 

Well apparently during the filming of a fight scene, Downey Jr was knocked unconscious by Robert Maillet, a 7-foot tall former pro-wrestler who co-stars in the film.  Maillet accidently connected with a massive hook on Downey's chin.  Downey Jr was thrown into the air and and to the ground.  He was reportedly out cold for several seconds and drooling blood before medics revived him.  He required 6 stitches in the mouth to close a nasty cut caused by the punch.

This setback comes just days after a petrol tanker burst into flames on the set causing crew to run for cover and production to be shut down for several hours.

As somebody who worked as a bouncer for 5 years and has studied Martial Arts my entire life let me tell you... getting hit in the head is not a fun thing.. especially not if the person is 3 times your size.
