You've heard of reality TV right? Well...this is reality film. The cameras follow a fledgling filmmaker as he goes through the process of making THIS movie while that process ultimately becomes the movie. The story begins the day after the film's conceptualization and shows the director's very first step towards making the film a reality. He begins to meet with other filmmakers, industry professionals, and local businesses to ask for help and support to make his film - and dream - come true.

What is I Am DB? The title is derived from the Internet Movie Database or IMDb. It is a play on words. The IMDb (www.imdb.com) is an online database and source of information for nearly every movie that has graced the silver screen, every TV show that has ever been broadcast and every actor that has ever performed in either of them.
