Kenneth Branagh Directing Thor?

According to IrishNews Kenneth Branagh has been approached to direct THOR for Marvel. The movie is based on the hit comic based on the mythological god. You will recall earlier rumors had DJ Caruso pegged to direct but those rumors were quickly debunked.

The new THOR movie is on the fast track with Matthew Vaughn originally attached to direct and with Kevin McKidd the star of HBO's ROME the last rumored name to lead the cast as THOR.
