Cloverfield Director takes on Vampire Remake

Cloverfield Director Matt Reeves is taking another stab in the directors seat only this time it will not be new and exciting material. He has been tapped to step into the remake aisle and will be remaking the vampire flick Let the Right One In.

This is a tough position for Matt Reeves in my view. Going from such an innovative and massive film like Cloverfield to remaking a horror movie is quite a slide in my eyes. That said I would imagine most mainstream filmgoers have never heard of Let the Right One In and might actually think its a new movie project. Matt is also working on a sequel to Cloverfield but there has been alot of speculation that film is stalled and may not happen.
