Beverly Hills Ninja 2 Is Coming?

One of my all time favorite comedians will always be Chris Farley. He left behind a great legacy with the films he was in and all of his skits on SNL. He was a man that left before his time but I guess it was best that he left on top rather than a slow spiral into drugs that would have been very public.

Thats why the news today from Variety that a Beverly Hills Ninja 2 is coming out really surprised me. Why even touch a film like that? Unlike most films though this one is simply getting the tag to draw fans from the first one. It doesn't seem to have any real connection to the first film at all.

Mitch Klebanoff, a writer and co-producer of the original film, has scripted and will helm the sequel. Story involves an orphaned boy who wants to be a ninja but becomes involved in a crime in Hollywood while looking for his real parents. Sounds similar but different enough to be called something else.. Maybe they have some linking story elements to the first film. Only time will tell.
