Cher to Play Catwoman?

You may remember not to long ago when the rumor mill started about a possible sequel to The Dark Knight that Angelina Jolie would play Catwoman. Well now apparently a source tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "Cher is Nolan's first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry's creations."

I have to say this sounds like a load of crap. I'm not buying this for one second and I have a couple reasons for that. One, Catwoman has always been one of the sexiest characters around in the Batman universe so for Cher to come along and play the character you would have to age Batman as well. Secondly its a UK rag given as the source. Hopefully we get confirmation that this is nothing more than a bad rumor soon.
