Paris Hilton Sued Over Pledge This!

Today Worldwide Entertainment Group filed a lawsuit against Paris Hilton in the U.S. District Court in Miami. The suit alledges that in her contract with the film National Lampoon's Pledge This! that she must promote the DVD release. They paid her $1 million dollars to do so but are only filing the law suit for $750,000.

Now the movie came out in December of 2006. I am a little surprised it has taken them this long to finally sue her over it. What is quite funny about this whole predicament is that Paris is actually one of the Executive Producers on the film too. So to sue her is a little pointless considering she probably lost out big on the whole production as well.

I am probably one of the only people who had actually seen this flick and let me tell you it is god awful. I mean rancid. My guess is if they would have focused more on making a good movie and less on whether or not she promoted it or not maybe it would have turned a profit.
