Legendary Singer Issac Hayes Dies

I hate to have to write one of these.. let alone two in this weekend alone. We have lost yet another great performer. This time mainly known for his music but still a great soul all the same. Issac Hayes was pronounced dead this morning after he was found collapsed near a treadmill according to AP.

This man was truly a legend and had one himself many Grammy Awards. In film and entertainment he was known for creating the theme music for Shaft. He was also the voice behind one of South Park's most famous character's Chef. In a weird twist of fate he just finished working on a film with Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac whom just died yesterday. The film is called "Soul Men" and I am sure they will have a very special dedication in there for both of these great men.

Issac Hayes music had its own unique sound that was often imitated but never duplicated. He helped bring about the Disco phase and even Hip Hop/Rap owes alot of its roots to his music. We will miss ya Issac.. But you music will live on forever.
