Bernie Mac Passes Away

The news of the death of Bernie Mac really took me by surprise. There are some people who when you wake up the next day you just don't expect to hear that they passed away. We all have that kind of short list of people on our mind of people who may die or people whom we are not surprised to hear have left us.. Bernie Mac was certainly not one of them.

This year has been full of very odd accidents and deaths that really hit you. Heath Ledger and George Carlin come to mind right away. Also right now Morgan Freeman is listed as critical condition after his car accident. It seems that this is not the typical year.

Bernie had been in the hospital diagnosed with pneumonia and apparently listed in stable condition. Then this morning in the Chicago hospital he was pronounced dead at the rather young age of 50. He had been in the hospital for about a week. We will miss you big guy. You brought laughter to the world and now you can preform on an even bigger stage with all the greats..
