George Lucas Agrees Indiana Jones 5 SpinOff Bad Idea!

In an interview with MTV George Lucas seems to have decided that doing a spin off of Indiana Jones with Shia Labeouf as the star is not such a hot idea afterall. Originally George Lucas said he would want to do a spin off with Mutt Williams ( played by Shia ) taking over the franchise. The character being Jones son. Now he tells MTV that idea wasnt such a good one.

“Indiana Jones is Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford IS Indiana Jones,” Lucas said, dismissively adding about a character he helped create that, “If it was Mutt Williams it would be ‘Mutt Williams and the Search for Elvis’ or something.”

I couldnt imagine an Indiana Jones that wasnt about Harrison Ford. To me its weak at best. I am glad George has decided to do it with Harrison or not at all. There really is no other way to do it.
