Ghost Busters Sequel With a Twist

Well this is some big news and some odd ball news all in one. Our compadres at DreadCentral are reporting that the upcoming Ghost Busters sequel is alot closer then many would think. We already knew that all four original stars contributed their voices to the new Next Gen game but now comes word they are ready for the sequel but on top of that it has a 40 year old Virgin twist to it.

The 4 returning cast members  Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson will not just return but they will hand over their ghost busting gear to Seth Rogen, Steve Carrell and the rest of the 40 year old Virgin team. Yeah you read that right. They apparently want the entire gang from 40 Year old Virgin to take the helm. This is to me an obvious play for a new Ghost Busters movie franchise with a new generation of funny men. Quite frankly as stupid as it might sound to some I think this idea is pure gold. Steve Carell fighting ghosts with Seth Rogen and the gang? Pure gold! Bring on the new Ghost Busters movie I say!
