Heath Ledger Before White Make Up In The Dark Knight

I was looking for something entirely different when I stumbled upon an interesting photo of Heath Ledger before the Joker make-up. It is basically Heath with the Joker scars. He contradicts himself in the film on how exactly he got the scars so who knows but these are some interesting photos that originated at the Superherohype forums but seemingly have disappeared since.

Another neat factoid is that Heath Ledger himself designed the Joker make up. Here is the story from one of the forum members, "He [Heath] showed up with a very basic make-up kit consisting of store bought mascara, white grease paint and lipstick and basically designed the make-up there on the spot."
