Sequel to The Dark Knight On the Horizon?

With the massive box office that this film is doing there is no doubt that another Batman film will be coming. But will it include Christopher Nolan and screenwriter David Goyer. Well it seems they are not to sure but they have talked about doing another one. MTV Movies blog caught up with David Goyer about doing a third film.

“I think that’s the scariest thing – to think, could we come up with a third movie that was as good as the first two? Can we top ourselves?” screenwriter David Goyer asked aloud, almost rhetorically, in a recent conversation with MTV News. “Doing it a third time would be a big proposition.”

Goyer mentions that he has a villian in mind for a Batman 3 but, “I do think, though, that if there’s not a third film – these two movies stand on their own,” he added. “I think it could go either way.”
