Red Princess Blues Screening at Comic ConPosted by: MichaelAlex Ferrari and I have been friends since almost the start of this website. He is a great guy with alot of talent who just cant seem to get a break. His indie film BROKEN was visually one of the most impressive indie films ever made and now his new film Red Princess Blues is looking to do the same thing. If it can ever get made! Despite Alex's obvious talent and uber hot and talented Paula Garces willing to headline the film it seems we still have to wait for progress on the film. Yet all kinds of drivel continues to flow out of Hollywood in the meantime. At anyrate not to get on a tagent but you can checkout a screening of an animated take on Red Princess Blues at Comic Con. I have seen it and was quite impressed. It is for the most part hand drawn and truly is a throw back to the Japanese Anime that alot of you folks really dig. The new animated short film by writer/producer Alex Ferrari and artist extraordinaire Dan Cregan will be screening at the San Diego Comic Con Film Festival. Red Princess Blues Animated: The Book of Violence is an animated short film prequel to writer/director Alex Ferrari’s upcoming live action feature film Red Princess Blues starring the lovely Paula Garces (Knight Rider, The Shield, Harold & Kumar). Artist and Creative Director of the Visual Effects House Numb Robot (http://www.numbrobot.com), Dan Cregan makes his directorial debut. RPB Animated is a chance to explore the world of “Princess,” the main character of Red Princess Blues. Attending the screening and panel discussion are Paula Garces, Knight Rider, The Shield, Harold & Kumar; Alex Ferrari, creator/producer; Dan Cragan, director/producer. The film will screen on Friday, July 25, 2008 between 12:55pm - 1:20 pm in ROOM 26AB. The film will be followed by a panel discussion and then an autograph session with the star Paula Garces. She'll be signing Comic Con limited edition Red Princess Blues posters.
