Jessica Alba in Barbarella?

According to Cinemablend there is big news on the Barbarella front. Hot off hte heels of telling you the film was put on hold because the studio wanted a bigger name comes word that Jessica Alba is in talks to replace Rose McGowan as Barbarella.

The rumor started after Robert reportedly broke up with Rose, opening the door for a new female lead. I have to admit that Jessica Alba as Barbarella will definitely sell tickets!

The remake of the 1968 flick "Barbarella" starring Jane Fonda has been in the works for a while. The female lead has been rumored to be everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Angelina Jolie and Kate Beckinsale. My first choice would be Kate Beckinsale since we know she looks great in leather and goodness knows you can never go wrong with a hot momma in a jungle outfit!
