Captain America Hulk 2 Cameo a Lie?

Holy Moses are fan boys myself included raging mad at what appears to be a ploy by director Louis Letterier to get fans to go see Hulk 2 with talk of a detailed Captain America cameo which today has been revealed to be completely untrue by the producer of Hulk 2 over on Latino Review. Lets just do a quick recap of where things have been going in this discussion.

Yesterday the nice folks at SOS Hollywood posted part of an exlusive interview with Louis Letterier where he not only said there would be a Captain America Cameo but went into GREAT detail about it. Read what Louis had to say below and make note that there is no hinting around here. He CLEARLY says Captain America meets Banner!

“There’s a point when Bruce Banner gives up on his quest for the cure and decide to kill himself. So he travels far North and reaches the Arctic Circle. You might have seen bits of it in some of the promos. The result was a very dark and strong scene, which Marvel, me and everyone else’s considered to be too hard to young audiences to take, so we’ve cut it. Having that said, when Bruce arrives at his destination he meets up with Captain America! At some point this week, we will make it available on the internet – but I cannot tell you where or when – and the material will definitely be on the DVD.”

This is where things get really ugly. There was alot of talk of how on earth could they have done the Captain America bits without anyone getting wind and more importantly who would play the role? With an upcoming Captain America movie you have to be carefull not to ruin that film with the wrong portrayal now. Well it would seem according to LatinoReview that the whole bit about Captain America, is a LIE. Gale Anne Hurd the PRODUCER of the movie, so the person who would know says;

"He didn't really mean the character of Captain America, unless there's something that I don't know...Captain America was not visible in that scene."

And to that I say re-read what Louis is quotted as saying and tell me, does that seem like a slight mis-mention? Seems to me that fans are being misled and I dont like it one bit.
