Universal snatches Earth vs The Moon

According to Empire Universal is ready to bring war to earth in the form of the new scifi flick Earth vs the Moon.

Little is known about the project so far, but we figure that the title perhaps gives the game away. So, have Wernick and Reese - who also wrote the forthcoming Zombieland - created a world in which the Moon is revealed to be home to sentient beings, who decide to wage war on the third rock from the sun? Or are we waaaaaaay off base? Only time will tell.

I like the idea of Earth vs the Moon accept for one flaw. Where were they hiding during our moon walk darn it?
