Johnnie To talks about his Upcoming Projects

Hong Kong director Johnnie To recently has aninterview with the Beijing Times, during it he briefly talked about his upcoming projects. Two projects which are currently in production and will wrap up later this year - Xuan Lao Zuo and Wen Que.

 

Xuan Lao Zuo (Elect the boss), starring Simon Yam, is about a story of the Hong Kong gangsters choosing their new boss, which is actually inspired by a real event recently occurred in Hong Kong.

 

Wen Que (Pocket Picker), starring Louis Koo, tells a story of a Hong Kong pocket picker. To said there were more and more tourists from the mainland visiting Hong Kong everyday and subsequently, the number of pocket pickers in Hong Kong was also rising.

 

Johnnie To also said he would do his first big budget Hollywood project in March next year.
