First Blood Shot PhotosPosted by: Sheila RobertsWho says going after terrorists can’t be both fun and cathartic? Blood Shot, written and directed by Dietrich Johnston, promises exactly that. Based on the award winning short film of the same title, Blood Shot is an Action/Horror with a bit of comedy that combines the elements of hit films such as: “Dracula”, “TheTerminator”, “James Bond” and “Lethal Weapon” and features a terrific cast. Award winning actor Brad Dourif plays Bob, a notorious Middle Eastern terrorist who is plotting a major attack on the U.S. that includes detonating a powerful nuke in the heart of Los Angeles. The only thing standing in his way is an unlikely duo, a mysterious Vampire (The Hills Have Eyes’ Michael Bailey Smith) and a rogue cop named Rip (Desperate Housewives heart throb Brennan Elliott) who reluctantly join forces to thwart Bob’s gang of motley terrorists before it’s too late.
( Brennan Elliott (Rip) at his job thinks about his wife Carrie (Kristi Clainos)) Veteran actor Lance Henriksen (Aliens, X-Files, Millenium), who is as adept at playing clean cut FBI agents as psychotic motorcycle gang leaders, co-stars as Sam, the Vampire’s boss and leader of a covert government organization whose sole mission is to protect America from dangerous threats. Blood Shot is produced by Dietrich Johnston and Jacqueline Johnston. Scott Pearlman serves as co-producer with Daniel Sollinger line producing. The creative team includes D.P. Adam Biddle (V for Vendetta), stunt coordinator Cole McKay, and American make-up and effects wizard Dean Jones. MoviesOnline will be visiting the set this week so keep your eyes posted for lots more on Blood Shot.
