New Financing: King Conan: Crown of Iron Movie

It seems, that Milius is currently scouting locations in Turkey, together with some private financiers. Having the money secured, means that Warner Bros. would only have to distribute the film.

Arnold Schwarzenegger couls still be involved, but that depends on his political future. If he runs for a re-election as Gouvernor, the chances are not too high for seeing him as Conan again.

End of June, The Arnold Fans posted, that a source close to Milian said "Arnold called John about three or four months ago and asked John to wait for him.", although Schwarzenegger gave John Milius his blessing in moving forward with the project and with another action star a few month before (on the day he decided to run for Governor).

TAF also reported of John Milius still being unsure, if he wants to wait a couple more years for Arnold to return or if he should take wrestling star Triple H and begin filming sooner.

Although we now know that John Milius has the money, it is still not fixed when the filming begins.

But that's another story............
