Star Wars: The Clone Wars Goes Theatrical

There has been a lot of talk recently about what is going to happen next in the Star Wars universe. Not long ago we finally heard news that they were going to go ahead with an animated TV series. The word at that point was that LucasFilm were going to give it some kind of launch by releasing an animated movie first in the UK.

Now we have word from ComingSoon that they will be releasing the film in the US on August 15th. After that it will continue on in a half hour animated series on Cartoon Network and TNT. To get an idea of what is in store check out the trailer below.
