Heath Ledgers Cause of Death Announced

I was extremely shocked to hear of Heath Ledgers death last month. I think it really rocked everyone because not only was he still so young but he was just starting to become a huge star. His last role in The Dark Knight has been said to be outstanding by insiders and just by watching the trailer you can tell he is going to be the focus in the film.

After his death everyone wasn't sure what was going on and rumors were flying all over the net. Well today the reports are in and the cause of death was an accidental overdose of painkillers, sleeping pills, anti-anxiety medication and other prescription drugs.

Heath Ledgers father released the following statement, "While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy. Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage."
