World War Z Review

If you are at all curious what World War Z the new zombie movie is going to be like you now can get a pretty spoilerish sneak peak. IESB has posted a script review ofthe upcoming zombie movie. Go give it a read!
Paramount Pictures has obtained the rights to Brook's upcoming zombie-genre novel "World War Z" in a six-figure deal and Brad Pitt's production company Plan B will produce. According to Yahoo:
"World War Z" also tackles the zombie genre but is set 10 years after a great global zombie epidemic and is a serious oral history of the zombie future told from many perspectives around the world. Crown Publishing is putting the book out in the fall...
...In 2003, Brooks wrote "Zombie Survival Guide," which explained in great deadpan detail how to survive a supposedly impending zombie apocalypse. The book went on to become a surprise cult hit.
I have a copy of "The Zombie Survival Guide" and I'm a big fan of Max Brook's work. He's a very talented writer and I can't wait to get a copy of "Z". As much as I would like to hope the upcoming book/movie will be a comedic outlook on zombies, much in the style of "Shaun of the Dead", most of the comedic value of the survival guide comes from the fact that it's taken so seriously. I expect "Z" to be somewhere along the same lines.
