New Dark Knight Promo Photos

Some never before seen photos for the Dark Knight have gone online at Flixster via LatinoReview. Kelvin from LatinoReview says they are merchandising photos that will be put on the various products sold with the Dark Knight name. Lunch Boxes, Action Figures, Boxers, that kinda stuff. According to Empire Online if you go to see I am Legend at the IMAX you will get to see a 7 minute clip from Batman The Dark Knight which rather then being a trailer will show off the origins of the Joker. Sounds pretty cool. Will this lure fan boys into the imax for I am Legend? Not sure! But it will definitely get me looking to at least see where the IMAX is in relation to me. I am legend hits Jan 4th.

As a follow up to the blockbuster "Batman Begins", Christopher Nolan is set to direct Warner Bros. Pictures' "The Dark Knight", written by Jonathan Nolan, based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer. The film will be produced by Emma Thomas, Charles Roven and Christopher Nolan.

Additionally, Christian Bale will resume his role as Bruce Wayne and Academy Award nominee Heath Ledger has been cast as The Joker. Production is set to begin on "The Dark Knight" in early 2007.
