Make It Short Film Project PremierePosted by: PuppetMasterThe World Premiere of the third annual Make It Short Movie Project is scheduled for the evening of November 29, 2007 at SilverCity Cinemas in Thunder Bay. "With great community support, we created the atmosphere of a real international event," notes producer and Confederation College film professor Lee Chambers. "More than likely this will be the only time Thunder Bay will have the honour of hosting such a prestigious event". "The producers went above and beyond by putting me in more scenes that somebody with no experience would normally get, and for that I am so grateful," claims Megan Ott, who took part with her dad. "I had a blast learning about film and acting from professionals". There will be four public opportunities to view the local production at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 with all funds raised supporting children's mental health via the Children's Centre Foundation. Together with Alliance Atlantis, the award-winning community event was made with the support of the makers of '24' and 'Degrassi: The Next Generation', with 'Fido' director Andrew Currie acting as the film's executive producer. "Make It Short is an innovative community event for all ages that mixes entertainment with film education," adds Stephen Stohn from Epitome Pictures, the makers of Degrassi.
