Morningstar Films’ post-apocalyptic cannibal tale, Tooth and Nail, is the latest pick-up by After Dark Films for After Dark Horrorfest 2007 it was announced today by After Dark Films’ CEO Courtney Solomon following its premiere at Screamfest 2007 Tuesday night. Tooth and Nail joins Borderland, The Deaths of Ian Stone, Frontiers, Nightmare Man and Unearthed in the 2007 line-up which plays November 9 – 18, 2007. Steve Break of Break Thru Media negotiated the deal on behalf of Durham/Sachar Productions.
Starring Rachel Miner, Rider Strong, Robert Carradine, Vinnie Jones and Michael Madsen, Tooth and Nail follows a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic global fight against a band of vicious cannibals. The film was produced by Jonathan Sachar and Patrick Durham and written and directed by Mark Young.

Along with its partners AMC, Regal and Cinemark, After Dark Horrorfest 2007 runs over the course of one week (2 weekends) on over 300 screens across the United States from November 9 – 18th, making it the largest commercial film festival in the world. This unique festival is the first of its kind, premiering “8 Films to Die For,” celebrating the horror genre by showcasing films that run the spectrum of horror from thrillers to gore to the supernatural. After achieving groundbreaking success in its inaugural year, now After Dark Films is back with an even bigger and better Horrorfest.
