Jason Stathams Bank Job goes into Production

I am a big fan of Jason Stathams even if he doesnt always do very deep characters. He plays the role of the hardened good guy well. His latest project The Bank Job has gone into post production. LionsGate will distribute the film. From acclaimed Director Roger Donaldson and based on the true story of the now legendary 1971 Baker Street bank robbery, this is a story which has remained untold for over 35 years due to a government gagging order.

THE BANK JOB tells how one of the biggest robberies in British history took place with no arrests ever made, nor money ever recovered. It also tells the story of a vault full of secrets, the scandals that unfurled and the lives lost in the pursuit for the truth to stay 'hidden'.

In the tradition of classic British crime sagas such as SEXY BEAST and THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY, and with a gutsy performance from international superstar Jason Statham (LOCK, STOCK & TWO SMOKING BARRELS, SNATCH, TRANSPORTER 1 & 2) the long whispered and rumored truth of what really happened on Baker Street can now be told.
